I just joined this site because I was wondering whether or not I could use Bromine with my eco pur cartridge; thanks for the answer, I tried adjusting the chemicals while using bromine and turned the water aqua blue, looked really cool but I ended up draining it and although I knew there was a problem I didn't see anything in the literature about the cartridge not being compatible with bromine. Should have taken more chemistry classes I guess. Didn't replace the filter and cartridge before turning the spa back on and ended up causing myself a lot of extra time draining and refilling.
