  1. I have an older model (2002) Garden Leisure spa (220v) which has a Power Planner II energy management component. It is installed before the spa pack. The Gfci feeds power to the power planner which feeds the wires to the spa pack . In the power planner there are two hot wires, a ground and a neutral which go to the spa pack. I am getting a solid 120 reading from one of the hot wires (line 1) going to the spa pack. The other hot (line 2) is fluctuating between 95-109 v. This is causing my spa pack fuse to blow due to the fluctuations and the motor surges but wont start. I am thinking the power planner is failing. Would anyone know if the power planner is a required component in the spa or if it can be bypassed? Thanks if any advice is out there!
