Any luck with determining the root cause on you main board? I am having similar issues and it looks like there are two fuses on it (F3 and another by X2) but I am not sure these are fuses. I cannot find any wiring diagrams to verify the size. My board powers up and several of the leds light and then flicker. After a few seconds the system settles and the display shows all icons. And no red power light.
