Wow! What excellent advise already received - Chas, point WELL taken, thank you. I was just "cautioned" not to listen to reps opinions due to bias - but you make sense in what you say. It's just hard, being a new consumer to this arena and not knowing a whole lot, what to believe. Of course, there are pros and cons with anything, but seems in this arena there are SO many factors for both the pool and hot tub. I guess we just have to hope for the best. Still confused on steel vs. aluminum on pool, how to know what size/kind of pump/filter to get for pool, foam vs. non-foam on the hot tub, what else to look for in a quality tub. Any additional advise - you too Chas - would be greatly appreciated Thanks everyone.

Hi. I'm new to this site - and soon to be a new pool and spa owner. I have the spa narrowed down to either an Artesian or a Coleman and the pool narrowed down to either Doughboy, Trevi, or Esther Williams. I just want to make the best decision I can and don't know alot about EITHER spas or pools. Can anyone offer any "new buyers" advice or any opinion on any of those mentioned brands? PLEASE NO REPS FOR ANY OF THOSE - ONLY ACTUAL OWNERS with before-you-buy advice.
