No, all 3 relays change state when the unit is powered off and briefly when the high temp limit is reached.

I used an ohmmeter, they were relatively close in resistance. I also checked the log to see what the highest and lowest temp were for the high limit sensor. I didn’t check the flow sensor because I assumed it would show a flo2 alarm if the pump wasn’t running but the flow switch was on?

Hey guys We just purchased a new home that came with a Jacuzzi J480. The previous owners had no luck with this unit. I have spent some time and have it in some what of an operational condition but I am currently at the limits of my abilities. The unit heats up and all pumps function properly. My issue is that the tub over heats. It does not stop heating at the set temp. I have taken an amp draw to confirm the heater is running. Once powered on the cir pump will turn on and run for 30 seconds, then the heater will turn on (regardless of set temp) they will run together for a minute or 2 then the cir pump will turn off, the heater remains on until the sensor strapped to the outside of the heater hits 114F, the heater then turns off for 30 seconds and the cycle repeats. I have checked the circ and filter settings and I think they are fine. I have tried running in Economy and Standard modes, I have tested both temp sensors (they seem fine to me). I am trying to avoid having to purchase a new Control Board but that is my next option unless someone can help me. Thanks Derek
