I will say that, as a regular contributor on multiple pool and spa forums, I have not seen another thread with so many complaints about the same issue from the same manufacturer. Except perhaps inflatable hot tubs from China. If you are serious about this, you might start threads on other pool and spa forums, I'm sure there are others out there.

There is complaints everywhere. All over the internet. I just typed in problems with brp , and it was like 20 that showed up.

Since I filed their website has changed completely. Can't even post nothing anymore. I never did , and this is the first time I have spoke of it to anyone. Didn't realize there is that many issues with there pools out there either.

There are so many affected pools but to take them to NCAT it is 1 on 1. Or more correctly you against BRP with their “independent “ experts that just happen to also have a BRP email address… SERIOUSLY!

it’s really hard to call out their “fake truth”.

Spot on Sandra, just need a decent lawyer that has one of their pools with the same issues

I HAVE ONE WORKING ON IT. Any one want his number , and join in?

  3. MY pool was installed January 2019. It's been a Train wreck since it was started . Not getting into all my problems. I don't think there be enough room on this site. I have the same problem as all of you. Mine started out a shimmer emerald green.

Above water line looks like it did the day it was installed except the scratches from them installing it.. Water line solid white , and look like a light blue pool through out. Like the sky on a real humid day. It's a Barrier Reef pool. Got the run around for months. Heard all the excuses they could dream up. I finally had enough. Looks like I purchase a vinyl light blue pool. I have a case pending in the courts with the installer. Enough said don't want to go any further on that. We all need to get together with a complaint. You can look on the Santa Rosa Court dockets to see I am for real.

Any help or info you can provide would be greatly appreciated . If I can assist you in any way feel free to reach out. I sure wish you could send me a copy of the report you have on your fiberglass pool.

    Respectfully:

    Linda McGrath,

I installed a Barrier Reef Pool September 2016, within 12 months noticed white areas on the floor... one area actually looked like a huge hand. Waves appearing on the blue walls and above the waterline going white.  I took photos and asked Barrier Reef,  a pool service technician and 2 different pool shop technicians, no one could advise what was causing the deterioration of the gelcoat.

Where are you located and what is your pool shell number?

I have obtained an independent Fibreglass and Pool Specialists report on my pool and am currently going through the process with NCAT.

All things being equal I am hopeful for a positive outcome.
