Hello all, I just purchased a new sta-rite 1 HP pool pump. The problem is that all my current pipes are 2" and the pump has 1.5" connections. Is it ok to get adapters and connect the smaller pump pipes to the larger existing pipes? I'm thinking I'll be loosing some efficiency by going into smaller inlet and outlet ports on the pump.
