Bought a home with a built in outdoor hot tub. I did not use it for quite some time and have been taking the water in to be tested every few days for the past month or so. Water keeps testing for high metals and the store has been giving me various chemicals to draw out the metals. The issues with water hardness, PH and alkalinity have all been fixed but still working on the metals issue. Now I go to treat it again and there is stuff growing in there, as well as even some kind of worm creature. Don’t even know how this is possible given the bromine that goes in there every week. The store will send someone from service next week but can’t get anyone sooner due to the holidays.
Wondering if anyone can help me identify what the heck is growing in there because I sent photos to the store and they couldn’t figure it out either. It is so gross.
