  1. I guess I could have mentioned that- 60’ run and documentation says 40A for the tub. Thanks
  2. I have ordered a hot tub that should be here in 3-4 weeks. I’m trying to come up with a wiring solution that eliminates any splices from my breaker box in the garage to the disconnect at the back of the house. I absolutely hate splices and see them as a potential point of failure. For background, I am an electronics technician/ industrial control electrician so wiring this isn’t a big deal. My question is- has anyone used tray cable(not SO cable) for a continuous run through an attic and in conduit for this application? The cable I’m looking at meets every requirement as best I can tell(thwn for wet location, properly sheathed for exposed run which would allow the attic run, 90C rating, and rated for enclosed runs(which would typically be enclosed wire raceways but it’s used in conduit in new installs where I work). I know I’ll have to run individual thwn to the tub from the disconnect. Just curious if anyone else has done this before.
