I sell HotSpring, Marquis is a good spa. Hotspring has a circ pump, Marquis does not, do you need a circ pump? there is a little thread on that issue in this forum.

Could you decipher this question?

HotSpring has a 60lb density foam bottom, It's hard as rock, but then nothing is going to enter from the bottom if your spa is on a firm foundation with 4-6000 lbs of water and spa pressing down on it, where a rodent can enter is into the equipment compartment where the access panel is. A HotSpring has a metal mesh rodent barrier installed to prevent this very issue, those Watkins guys think of everything.

I sold a HotSpring Sovereign to a Swedish couple who were in the USA for a temporary work assignment. they shipped the spa back home, changed the pumps, heater and electronics and still made out better than if they had bought it in Sweden. Spas there can sell for 4 times more than here.

Term has all the brands covered, but after those pics I'm starting to itch!

Get as much water out of the lines as possible, then you won't have stagnant water sitting in there, use a shop vac to clear them out. Clean the filters, and make sure the spa is covered to avoid solar distress. Have a nice vacation,
