  1. Thank you for the reply! I will replace the blower and install a new check valve. When I cut the pipe to replace will it pour out water? Or is it just residual water in the pipe?
  2. Hi, I have a 20 year old hot tub that has original pumps and a blower. They all work!! Recently, the blower motor started making noises while it ran and it was full of water. It tripped the breaker. My question is why is this happening all of a sudden now? The blower still works, always starts normally then a few seconds later it makes that weird noise with the water. Can I fix this somehow? Thank you for your assistance!
  3. Hi, I have a full hot tub and need to fix a bunch of leaking joints... Old hot tub.... I need to replace every pipe connected to that manifold. I have it assembled already. My problem is, There is no valve that would shut off the flow from that manifold so I can cut the PVC pipe in the three places I need to to connect my new assembly. I believe it is feeding from an inlet at the bottom of the tub as well as every jet that connects to it. I'm trying to avoid emptying the tub. Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this without emptying the tub? I'm going nuts trying to figure this out. Anyway to block water flow from inside the tub? I appreciate any advice. Thank you.
  4. Hi there New to the forums. Thank you all for any help in advance. I just wired a new Balboa SV pack and I'm having issues. Previous controller blew and it's about a 20 year old spa do I just decided to get a new pack. The spa pack is not turning on at all. Nothing on the topside. I don't know if this is normal but the only thing I can see is when I use my voltmeter at the pack itself. Red to white shows 240V and black to white is 0V. White to green shows 120V. There is continuity between the white and black wires which is odd but when I called the store I bought it from they said it's normal. I know my circuit breaker and wiring there is functioning normally. Any thoughts? Thank you all.
