  1. I’ll look into it more. I see a new board is $400. Rather repair it if that’s the issue. Not sure where’s it leaking. It’s wet under it and I can residue. All requires more investigation. Thanks.
  2. The GFCI was tripped on our spa so I reset it. The control panel comes on whenever I reset the GFCI but as soon as I push the button to turn on the jets, the GFCI will trip. I took the service panel off the front of the spa and I can see the pump is leaking just a little. I removed the cover off the electric control panel box and found a blackened, overheated plug on a jumper wire between two terminals, both labeled Jet 1&2. There's a small white arrow in the first photo pointing to the burned plug. The other photo is a detail of it. I plan to call the store when they reopen after the holiday and have somebody look at it but I like to have an idea what may be going on and to understand what the service person will be talking about. If you appear somewhat knowledgeable you may be less likely to be taken for a ride. I'll do a lot of repairs on most everything but usually I'm not going to be sitting in water after I do an electrical repair. I'm wondering if the pump may be seized causing the overheated wire? I'm concerned regarding that overheated plug/wire on the main control board. Thanks for any knowledge you all can send my way.
  3. Yup. 115v. There’s really good jet pressure and I have two filters so I always keep a clean one on have and rotate them weekly but I will try your advice and pull it out too. This is an excellent forum. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the replies. That’s all excellent information and answers most of what I was wondering about. Kind of like the opposite of a paint sprayer. You have moving fluid drawing air as opposed to moving air drawing fluid. I was curious where the air comes from and now I see. Has anyone heard of spider webs or other critters getting up under the valve and blocking the air inlet at all? I wonder if when I lean against those jets if it’s causing water to back-flow into the airlines enough to block air to the other jets? Thanks again!

  6. When I lean my back against the jets behind the seat across from the inside step, the bubbles stop from all the jets in the spa. I’ve tried to find online how the system works to no avail. There’s the lever/knob you turn to start and to adjust the bubbles but I don’t hear any kind of a blower come on. Where is the air drawn from to create the bubbles and does anybody know why leaning against those jets would stop all bubbles. Thanks!
