Bought a new hot tub December 2018. American Whirlpool Kona 151. Controller failed immediately. Controller replaced with same brand but hard to read, complicated, one instruction in book was incorrect. Put in a different brand controller next (3rd try) - that works! Filled tub, soon had major problem with white scale. Replaced water. Bodega Bay water system is slightly high pH and Alk. Tried chemical balancing. Still scaley. Replaced ozonator and installed UV treatment. Problem solved after $1,000 extra spent on a new tub. Insulation on sides is inadequate - cools too fast. Compared to my 19-year-old former tub of same size, this one has not been too good. Would not recommend.
