Sorry not sure I can help you without being there. On taking another good look at the picture,the heater terminals look as if it was leaking there,are you sure your GFCI breaker is working proper?

Do you live in a cold climate? Possible it froze? The elements are made to bend to let water out when they freeze.

Remove it from spa,wine corks can be used to plug the lines if spa is not drained,remove the insulation,clean it up best you can, fill with water and loop a hose to both outlets and pressurize smaller drain tube to find the leak,if it is an element gasket,that's pretty easy or you might have to find a stainless steal welder. I do have a used one if you think you need it.

The heater is the chrome tube under the control box,see if it is getting too hot and causing the high limit sensor to give that OH (over heat) reading.

Does anyone know a cross reference number for Watkins pumps,Wavemaster and relia-flow that use the #71447 shaft seal?
