Heat +- Button Does Not Work Anymore

Has anyone tried to fix the topside panel? I have the same issue where my heat button isn’t working. I’ve changed everything except the topside panel. I can’t reset the ribbon tape since it’s epoxied to the panel. I’m going to do the resistor method of fooling he temperature, then a mini remote panel
