  1. Balboa board m2/m3 and top controller, The hot tub was working just fine till last night. While I was in it a compression coy-long come off, so I killed it at the breaker and reconnected the coupling and left it off until this morning. i went to go turn on and the board would turn on and click but nothing happened. So i started testing connections.... 2 speed 240v gecko motor When I test the output to the water pump1 while connected to the board I get no readings. when I disconnect the pump from the board and retest the out on the board I’m getting 240v from white to red and 120 from white to black(second stage) i tested the capacitor on pump and getting the 15 mF that is stated on label. Is the pump grounding out? Any suggestions? Thoughts? Thanks for any advice.
  2. I have a M2/M3 Balboa board, 1 year old board. 240v heater element. Everything works fine except that when the hot tub turns off there is still power going to one side of heater element. It is coming from pole 3 on board, high side heater. I have replace the relay on the bird but it is still showing 117v. I have unplugged the pressure switch and this hasn’t even stopped the one side from showing 117v. Any suggestions? Something on the board seems to stuck, in my opinion. thanks for any suggestions
  3. In m opinion, if you gave no resistance between poles on element then you have a bad element.
  4. Old Morgan Spa I replaced the 50745 board with a new M3 retro fit 52518 board along with a new topside controller-51058. I have 2 motors- 2 speed motors 1- blower No ozonator 1. On the new board I pulled the J10 jumper 2. J7 is on "A" side 3. J25 is on 60Hz There is a flashing FLO code along with COOL. I have tested the continuity of the pressure switch while the pumps are on and it is closed and open when the pumps are off. Pump 1 is running on low speed and high speed when press pump 1. When pressed third time the 2nd pump does not turn on. The 2nd pump does not come on at all now. The old board does not have a relay on pump 2 if this matters. When press clock(time)- blower comes on???? Press blower button-(bottom right) something clicks on board but blower does not turn on. I feel I am missing something. Any suggestions?
