  1. I am using just chlorine in my spa now. I ended up buying a new heater on Ebay. You can buy the gaskets if the plastic isn't cracked. There are now more repair parts that you can find there: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC0.A0.H0.Xwatkins+heater.TRS0&_nkw=watkins+heater&_sacat=0
  2. Went out to hot tub running, but no heat. Recently replaced heater, been running fine for a few months. See picture below. Thank God house didn't burn down! Thinking maybe electrician didn't hook these up very well, as it looks like maybe that's what caused this? This doesn't look like the normal relay burned out normal problems, does it? https://www.dropbox.com/s/lgn7630cx9osmhs/2017-12-21 21.55.46.jpg?dl=0
  3. Ok I've taken it apart. Looks like there is a crack in the plastic at the end of the heater where it does the loop. Is this repairable? https://www.dropbox.com/s/csr7vp2flswiv1h/2017-07-22 14.23.15.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ijfisxcu333td87/2017-07-22 14.22.53.jpg?dl=0
  4. We usually put in several tablespoons of chlorine once or twice a week. With water changes once or twice a year. Perhaps that has created this problem, as we don't do any water testing or anything? We are in Minneapolis, with some of the best tap water quality in nation----so I didn't think much else would be required.
  5. Opened up hot tub to find that water was down over a foot. Here is video I made: Opened up cover and found leak at the heater. Also looks like there is white build up on it. Will I be needing to replace whole heater assembly? P.S. The LED lights don't work right at all. At first a few started to not work after like a year. Then a few used to stay on all the time and controls didn't do anything. Now none come on. Is that something that is an easy fix while I have this all open?
