  1. The ML900 topside that comes up is the recommended replacement for the MAS560 systems - it also requires the MAS8000 control pack. I can't find anything saying that the ML900 topside is backward compatible to the MAS560 controls. If you know of anything, please let me know. A new ML900 topside is obviously my easiest way out, but I don't want to buy it and find out it doesn't work with my current controls. I can't find any Balboa VS systems that accommodate a circ pump, 2 two speed pumps, and a single speed pump (4 total). The Gecko system looks like it will work... and at a much lower price than the MAS8000 system. You've had good experience with these? Thanks!
  2. I've been looking around, and it seems my only retrofit option is an MAS8000 system: control system, topside, and both aux buttons. I can't find any other drop in systems that control a circ pump, (2) 2 speed pumps, and a single speed pump (pump #3). It totals around $1600. Does anyone know of any other options? Thanks!
  3. It's a MAS560 system. I haven't looked at the PN on the topside, but from what I can tell the only option is to retrofit. Unless there are MAS560 compatible topsides that are still available?
  4. Dave, do you know which high-end manufacturers are not using spray in foam? Thanks.
  5. Hi Everyone, I have a 2002 Legend Series LS700. It's been a great tub for many years, mostly maintenance free. The topside control panel is starting to go... the buttons sometimes don't work, and it's doing random / unpredictable stuff with the display and controls. The panel is no longer available new, and the retrofit system requires a new control box (Balboa control box, heater, panel, etc), which is over $1000 for parts. We're asking the obvious question to ourselves - should we get a new tub, or fix this one? I'm looking for advice from anyone with experience with tubs of this age - what else can I expect to go wrong? How long do the shells typically last? Thanks!
