  1. I have a 1998 Hot Springs Sovereign that was working fine back in May. I shut it down, drained it for the summer and filled it up last week. Mine is wired with two breakers, 120V for the pumps and light and 240V for the heater. I always turn on just the 120V first to get things circulating and run the jets for a good 10 minutes before turning on the heater. Immediately upon turning on the 120V, the power light starts flashing red and doesn't stop. I can hear the circulator pump running and it sound fine. I am unable to turn on the jets or the light as the power light keeps on flashing. I have not introduced any heat at this point and the water temp is still ground water temp so I don't see how it could be a hi limit issue at this point. This happened a few years ago I think someone told me if the water was TOO cold, it could cause this. I drained some water out and put in warm water (I have a hot water spigot) and that didn't help. Any thoughts or ideas on what I can try or check next?
  2. This just happened to me again this season. Same hot tub. I cannot recall what the fix was. I seem to think the issue was that the water I filled it with may have been too cold?
  3. I just filled my Hot Springs Sovereign tub after having drained it for the summer and it's wired for 230V so I just put on the 110V breaker, filled it through the middle filter so the circulator pump started fine, worked out the bubbles and is running well. However, the red power light is flashing and this is before I even turned on the 230V for the heater so it's not like it overheated. The main jet pump will not work with the red flashing power light. There is no button for a hi limit switch or anything to 'reset' on my control box. What else should I check? It was working fine in May when I shut it down. Thanks in advance.
