  1. I recently discovered a fairly sizable leak when my 10-year-old Solana TX is running on the high speed jets. I can see the water coming from the impeller at the pump. There is no leak if the pump is running at low speed. From what I can determine I would need a new pump, which is more than $400 and does not look easy to replace. I'm handy but am not eager to invest that much on a spa this old, especially knowing that I will need to do the replacement. Did I mention that I'm over 70 and the prospect of bending over long enough to replace the pump is also not appealing.... Since the low speed pump works, I'm wondering if I can still limp along indefinitely without the high speed jets functioning. We don't need the motomassage or other jets to enjoy the spa. Will the low speed be sufficient to circulate the chlorine and any other chemicals I might need? Is there some issue I may not know about. Once the leak starts with the high speed jets, is it likely to get worse and eventually leak with the pump on low speed? Thanks for any help you can provide. Richard
