Thanks "Wizard of Water",
So if I understand you correctly .. the error in my thinking stems for the fact that the oxidation of the waste (which the 3.5 tsp / person-hr rule addresses) is a much longer process (say 8 hours) than I thought. So in principle during the "afternoon hot tub party" I would start off with a bit higher than normal .. say 7 ppm FC and then every hour or so (or when a break in the bathing occurs) I check the levels and make sure that FC has some residual. If not, then add a few more teaspoons to boost it up a bit ... circulate for 10 minutes and then let people back in?
I also assume that adding MPS before and during the afternoon also helps the oxidation issue, right? Would you recommend that I add MPS into this routine? (by the way, I have an ozonator and silver ion stick as well).
Thanks
Mike
