  1. I have seen a dermatologist and he just thought it was dry skin. But at that time, The rash had dissipated due to having to wait for an appointment. However, I've taken many hot baths with no problem. The bromine / nature 2 combination was suggested by the person at our local pool store. The jacuzzi manual suggested that using chlorine tablets would harm the motor. Do you think it could be a reaction to the bromine? Or the MSP? What regime would you suggest as far as a sanitizer and shock?
  2. We got a Jacuzzi J-315 a couple months ago. At first we went in every day. We started with a frog filter cartridge and MSP after each use. About a month in, I would develop itchy red bumps. We were having trouble keeping the water clear with that regime, so when we drained the tub at the end of January, we switched to a floater with bromine tablets and a Nature 2 cartridge stick. We still use the MSP, but don't need it everyday. After going in the hot tub, and showering immediately after getting out followed by putting on moisturizer, during the night I'll wake up itching like crazy! We have a pool (sanitized with chlorine) and I've spent lots of time floating in there with no adverse reaction. We're trying to narrow down what's causing this allergic reaction, but not sure what to do next. Jacuzzi doesn't recommend using chlorine so not sure what to switch out and still be able to maintain clean water... I really hate that I can't use the tub. My husband and daughter also go in and neither of them have had this type of reaction.
