  1. What can I use on a daily bases that will not increase the CYA? I am currently using sodium dichlor stabilized chlorine but that obviously isn't going to help my issue. Thanks in advance. Scott
  2. I used this; AquaChek TruTest Digital Test Strip Reader Kit. I am beginning to think it's not the most accurate testor.
  3. This morning I tested my hot tub, it read... Free Chlorine: .5 PH: 8.0 Alkalinity: 140. I put PH reducer in (the recommended amount) to bring it down a bit. I tested it an hour later and it reads. PH: 8.4 Alkalinity: 40. I put Alkalinity enhancer in it to bring that back up so I can try again to get the PH down.. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks, Scott
  4. I just got the Maax 481 yesterday which included Bluetooth with the Balboa Bluetooth Audio (Amp) I tried to get the Bluetooth connected but my phone couldn't locate it. I then plugged the phone in via the 3.55mm connection and nothing. I opened up the spa and looked at the Balboa Bluetooth Audio (Amp) but it had no power. I tested the power lines that are going to the unit and it is sending power, I checked the fuse and it is fine. I have no idea why the Balboa is not powering up. I am out of answers because it worked at the showroom.
  5. Hi everyone. I am new to the hot tub experience and am sure will have plenty of questions. This weekend I am running the power for the hot tub through flex conduit attached to the beams under my deck, which will eventually need to come through somewhere. Our hot tub (Maax 481) is getting delivered on 09/10 and I am not sure where the access inlet is for the unit to have some idea where I will need to drill my hole on the deck. Is the access inlet in a certain spot or can it be added any where on the hot tub? Thank you in advance, Scott
