You are a genius.... thank you soooo much! Tracked my problem back after isolating both 120v lines and you were right one was dead.....

Hi everyone i am usually the kinda of person who can figure things out but this one has me stumped i just replaced a heating element due to no heat, and i still get no heat. everything looks OK except across the two heating element contacts i don't get any voltage where i should get 220v. I have 120v at each post separately to ground, but nothing across them, when everyplace i looked online and in the diagram it shows i should get 220... i did just replace the gfi shutoff breaker but i have 120v and 120v coming in... plz help..... thanks
