I have a 2004 Hot springs Vista Hot Tub that has been working well until recently. I noticed the jets lost a little power and was wondering if I could get some direction on where to start trouble-shooting. What I have done so far is tested jet 1, both low and high speed worked (pressed button 2 times), when I tried the same test on jet 2 only the low speed worked. When I pushed the jet 2 button a second time it would not click over to high. Can anyone help me diagnose this issue or recommend any other tests. Thank you

I was recently given a 2004 hot Springs Vista hot tub from a friend. Once the tub was moved and the electrician hooked it up everything seemed to be working ok. Lately after 10-15 minutes of use the breakers on the disconnect would pop. So I pulled the side panel and the control box cover and noticed that 3-4 of the 5 electrical wires are burned and the cover was warm to the touch when I pulled the cover off. Today I had my electrician over and he pulled the board and noticed it was burnt on the back but said the board still looked ok. He told my wife that it appeared one of the motors was pulling too much current and that I should have the hot tub company come out and check it out. I emailed them the photos and they said it looks like I need a new board. I did a few searches and am not sure what the real problem is. Everything seemed to work just fine, the water temperature was where I wanted it and all the jets worked. Anyone have an idea?
