Well, I finally bit and purchased a Hot Spring Envoy earlier this week. It was delivered on Tuesday and I took my first soak in it that night. What a great tub. The jets are extremely powerful! I bought a 2006 model with an azurite shell and coastal gray cabinet. The price included delivery, steps, cover w/ez lift, and chemicals. I paid $8195 and was able to bypass taxes due to a prescription. I like the variablility in the seating most. Each one feels different and offers a unique massage from the other seats. My favorite seat so far is the lounger with the Moto-massage DX Jet. This jet runs up and down your back on each side of your spine while others simultaneously massage your neck, shoulders, and feet. It's awesome. I'm still trying to figure out the controls for the jet systems. There are 2 pumps that are controlled by 2 SmartJet levers on the front of the tub. It doesn't seem like all jets can be active at the same time which is fine for me because only 2 people will be using the tub majority of the time. However, it is tricky trying to accomodate the needs of the second person without affecting the jets you're utilizing. I'm sure I'll get the hang of this over time. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this tub. It cost a bit more than I was hoping to spend but before I started shopping around I thought $4000 would buy the best tub on the market. I do recommend this tub and would purchase it again.

Hey everyone. I'm in the market for a hot tub and have been shopping around for a few days. I've found a D1 Aurora II (2006 model) that a dealer is selling pretty cheap (per the dealer) because business has been slow. It's a floor model that comes with steps and the ez lift for 6,695.00 delivered. I'm thinking there may be room to negotiate since they haven't sold a tub in a while. Any opinions? Mike
