  1. Spa Guru called it, leak is around the lens cover, didn't take them long to find it, I looked myself but didn't see it. But still better than being in the foam.
  2. Service call is in, we will see what they say next week. Dealer can at least re-spray foam if they have to tear it out.
  3. Drain caps are dry, and no sign of any moisture in the equipment compartment. Water is leaking out the bottom from just about the center, at least from what I can tell by looking at where it is dripping through the deck it sits on. It sat empty for a week in between stripping the old finish and applying new so I am not sure if a fitting would dry up or something in that time. I don't relish the idea of tearing insulation out on a hunt for a leak, especially when I don't really know where to start looking. Getting under it won't be easy even to try to look. I wonder what the dealer's repair shop will say it will cost for them to look at it.
  4. I have a 1996 Hot Springs Grandee that just started leaking from under the bottom of the tub after the last drain and fill. We drained it to slide it over about 6 inches to stain and then slid it back. Perhaps that sliding is unrelated but it has lost about 6 inches of water in less than a week. Is my only alternative to stand it up on its side to locate the leak, and if I have to cut through foam insulation, can that be replaced? Or is my hot tub doomed.....
