  1. I may misunderstood your problem. The technique I used allows finding small leaks in the pool itself. If you are loosing water quickly when the pump is running it sounds like you have leak in the piping system. I assume your backwash valve is closed and you are not just pumping water out.
  2. I had a leak in my inground pool several years ago. I used this very simple technique someone suggested on-line. Go to local quick stop place where you can buy coffee, get a cup for yourself and grab bunch of small packets of creamers. Walk around the pool and slowly pour cream into the water around all inlets and outlets. When you will see the trail of creamer sucked into the hole that is where your leak is.
  3. I need help with my Jandy LXi Pool Heater troubleshooting. I have it for 3 years and it worked fined until in the end of last summer it suddenly stopped lighting up. No power whatsoever. I followed directions in the manual and quickly found that there is no power passed Power Circuit Board. There were burn marks on the board, so it was clearly burned. I measured the voltage incoming to the board it showed me about 260V that is within the range (204-264V). I bought a new board and installed it just now. As soon as I tuned on the power the new board burned down. Can someone advise on what to do next? There is probably a shortage somewhere, but how would I find it? The troubleshooting instructions in the manual are for finding power loss only. Thanks for your help.
