  1. I have sent him an email with the information about the hot tub and I hope I will get some kind off reply. I will be sure to inform you off the following results.
  2. Thank you for your very fast answer. Is there any option I could contact this Scott over email? Because of my english it would be a lot more simple. Thank, S
  3. Hello everybody, as it can be seen from the topic title I have an urgent and big problem so I ask you to read the following text and give me some advice. I am sorry for my english mistakes allready in advance. I am from Slovenia and my mother chose to buy a jacuzzy without my total agreement and without much searching the web. So now we are have some trouble with the dealer and with the tub. Let me explain. Where we come from there is not a lot to choose from (we have Sundance spas, Sun spas, Srctic spas (all by one dealer - seamed very friendly), and 3 companies offering Hot spring spas - these companies DO NOT give you a good feeling about their service. So now because we read in the brochures that the arctic spa was one of the best we (my mother) chose to buy it. We have the model Klondiker LSE. We paid 14000 euros that is 19000 dollars in current exchange rate. We used all our savings. Main factor in buying the spa was its efficiency, simple replacing and repairing of the parts, and lifetime warranty for the shell and a 10 year warranty for the parts. Also important was the building quality which seemed good (true wood, very solid and very (compared to others) VERY big tub and forever floor. It has been only 14 days since the spa stand on top of our deck. The problems all together (from the smallest to biggest): - audio system tends to make a buzzing sound (cables checked, changed) - audio system has a lot of different controls in the menu which we did not get the instructions for and we can not convince the dealer to send them - the dashboard is unlike any I can find on the internet - I can post a picture. I do not understand why I am obviously so stupid I can not find my own spas dashboard on the net - or is it a very old model? - some nozzles come loose very easy and must be checked frequently or else they fall out - more than 15 nozzles show signs of rust in the parts of the small steel in the center - the rotating knobs for choosing the amount of air added to the water stream of the jets (there are 2) tend to not work - let me explain. If you run pump 2 with a clear water stream and then open the valve to add air to the jets - nothing happens. You have to repeat the procedure of rotating the knob several times or turn off pump and then turn on again. !! Sometimes the system works fine. There is no special rule. - the BIG knobs (paws) for redirecting the current from one seat to another - leaks, sometimes heavily. But only on top, just under of where it is screwed on. - The spa is currently set on top of a deck where temperatures in the summer get up to 42 degrees maybe even higher for days (110 and above). As I set to search the web I see these will be a problem to? What is about all of this the most frustrating is that the local dealer sent a champaign bottle with his worker (who came to repair everything) as an apologie. As it turned out the so called specialist had absolutely NO clue of what he was doing. He could not explain nothing except that he took a photo of a nozzle that had rusted. He didn't even know how to turn thing on and off. Above all. They claimed that the average consumption in our area should be around 20 euro - 25 dollars. As it turns out this thing eats electricity like on competition. It is currently 10 degrees celsius (50 fahrenheit) and it is opened aprox. 20 min a day. So please, any advice on how to fix things on my own, who to contact, what to do. In our country there is just not enough companies involved in such business and therefore there is a big lack of knowledge all around. Should I try to resell it forward to someone who know what to do whit it or should try to firs sort out things. I am quite handy so some minor fixes should be a problem but this is killing my inner peace and not letting me sleep. We thought we bought this for a long time, but nowadays things are obviously getting worse with the massive production. I can not afford to trow away all of the money for some stupid spa so I have to make it work and get the best of it. Thank you for all your answers, if there will be any. Simon p.s. Is there any other forum/web community where I can post any further question about solving all the problems?
