  1. We have a 27' AG pool and just had to install a new liner, so we decided to convert to saltwater. I bought a Chlorease CL01 unit which will handle up to 18000 gallons, and ours is about 17000. We hooked it all up when we filled the pool, added 420 pounds of salt, and for about a week a milky cloud formed around the generator. According to the instruction manual this is normal. Then when the pool cleared, the cloud stopped and no bubbles are coming out. I called the manufacturer, which you have to stay on hold for at least 20 minutes to get to talk to a live person, and was told this was normal - for me just to keep a close check on the levels. I have had to add shock once a week to keep the chlorine levels up. All other chemistries are great, except for the hardness, and the pool guy here said that was ok. My question is if there is anyone out there who has experience with these units, please give me tips on maintenance, and also, is the unit supposed to be COMPLETELY submerged? I can't really get a straight answer from the maker. Thanks from Arkansas
