  1. For those who may have this problem. Check the see-thru flow sensor visually in you can (behind the right panel on my Sundance Marin) When I looked at it when the old pump was running the contacts touched intermittently. When I checked it after the new pump was installed there was a solid and constant connection between the contacts.
  2. i pulled out the circ pump and took it apart it looks and smells burnt at the inside connections. not normal? right?

  4. I live in Northern CA. It rarely gets below freezing. Can I disable the freezer protection on this spa? It is a waste of electricity for me. Thanks

  6. OK I just showed how dumb I am. Page 30 in the manual. "If the hot tub water is more than 20 degrees F cooler than the temperature set point, the low speed pump 1 and heater will automatically acti- vate to provide freeze protection. The hot tub will stay in this mode until the water temperature reaches 15 degrees below the set temperature. No corrective action is necessary. " I still would love some suggestions on how to trouble shoot the spa tripping the breaker.
  7. I have replaced the heater. I turn on the spa. It still trips the breaker. Once, it stayed on for several hours and then tripped the breaker. NOW, I disconnected the heater, turned it on, it stays on flashes FLO, COOL, 79 degrees. then after a few moments kicks on #1 pump. 1. Why does pump #1 come on? 2. Does COOL mean it thinks the water is too hot? I can see that the flow sensor is not making contact and I assume that is because when the heater is not attached the circulation pump doesn't run. A little help.
