Thanks for the reply. That is not what I expected to hear, I have replaced many capacitors on multiple different types of motors and gotten many more years of service. Its like replacing a shoe that only needs a new shoelace. However I do understand that it could be signs of a more serious motor problem and from a field techs standpoint, there is less chance of having to return to fix the unit again.
However I am still wondering if these units have run caps also. And when the pump is running if all the jest should have flow because they do not. I have never seen this unit fully operational to compare it to so I am not positive what to be looking for.
