  1. Thank you for your responses. I did end up messaging John and he was SUPER helpful. Thank God for people like him. I ended up contacting the Pool Dr and got a better price of $14600. I still need to go in there and see if I can talk them down a bit, even though I have no clue how to do that! I do agree that the Amore Bay is over priced, but it is the only tub out there (that I have seen) that has that layout. I have kids and I love the idea of them having the open bench seating area to kind of splash around while I can sit across and watch them in a way. It makes me feel like I am getting this for the kids too, when really it is me who wants one so badly If there was any other tub out there with this layout, I would certainly be looking into that instead. It is the only reason I want this specific tub. Too bad other companies haven't replicated it yet! Thank you again for your helpful responses. I really appreciate it!!
  2. Thank you so much for your response John. We live in Eastern MA (unlucky for us!) Would you suggest traveling to purchase a tub then? Do you think looking in RI would make a difference? I am not sure what my options are as I am new to this research but I really do appreciate your advice. This is eye opening, but I can totally see why you are saying this. The guy that we went to, standing firm on $14999 seemed a bit crazy to me and the manager was completely rude and grumpy. I know it's not your job to answer my questions, but do you have any idea what a good price on the Amore bay is these days? We do want to get the Amore Bay because of the layout seems like it would work well for our kids too. Thank you again. So much. Erin
  3. I have been researching getting a hot tub and we are definitely going to purchase a D1 Amore Bay. We went to the first dealer today. He said it was "on sale" for $14999. (Not including taxes, but everything else included) He seemed to be set in his price. From researching on here, it seems as though you can get them to lower the price if you have the right info and play the game a little. Does anyone know about how much I should be able to get the Amore Bay at right now? I have seen so many other posts as low as $11,900 (more around the $13000 range) but all these were a few years ago. I do think $14999 seems too high (It was the price listed on the sale tag and he said it was firm. (This was a huge store with a TON of nice products all over priced in my opinion) We are going to look into the other 4 surrounding towns that offer the D1 spas. We are in MA if that makes a difference at all. Any advice/tips/info would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks so much!
