Follow up. . . I did purchase a generic 4 button Balboa #54093. I was told that it should work on that system. It works like a charm. All controls respond just like the Dynasty topside. The seperate backlight with the two incandescent bulbs has been removed a red LED running off the system/display power is now used which is much better.

I am rebuilding my Spa that been running 24/7 since 2001. The topside panel has to be replaced because the display is no longer working. I have a Dynasty Spa D2000 Digital Duplex Spa Pack. This was made by Balboa for Dynasty and I understand it is a 2000 system. So, can anyone tell me if I can use the generic Balboa topsides 54093 VL402 with a LCD display or, 51223 VL404 with a LED Display? Both say they are duplex digital control panels. Thanks.
