  1. I have a 2006 Altamar that I just had to put a new circuit board in, bought the parts and did it my self. When I originally got the tub I know I changed a jumper on the board that makes it run in 60 amp mode so that the heater will run when both pumps are. For the life of me I don't know where I found what jumper to change. But then also the new circuit board is a 6600-161 board and the old a 6600-098, so I don't know if it would be the same jumper or not. Any one know which jumper I need to use on the 6600-161 board?
  2. Long story short we had a freeze up last winter and now it is time to fix the tub: Water Heater, Flow Valve, Drain Valve, that is all I know of. Now to the cause of the problem. For quiet awhile we had some glitches with or tub that service guy now says was because or the circuit board, which at the time we first mensioned them it was still warrentied and now it isn't, ya go figrure. What it was doing from what I remember. Always had problems after turning the power of getting rid of the FLO message, took multile power cyles to get it to go. Some times after power failure it would be just ---- on the screen. This was the cause of the freeze up, had a momentary power failure that we didn't know about and the spa never came back on. Also at ramdom time you would push the button to turn a pump on and the screen would just go blank and shut down, again power cycles to get it back on. Just want to make sure I shouldn't be looing for trouble somewhere else before I drop $400 on a new board.
