  1. I didn't go into setting filter times, I was asking about the temp difference problem. It's fine for now...At least I don't have to worry about it freezing and pipes cracking and I can get my soak on which helps with pain management.
  2. The difference between the temperature I set and the actual. The only time I think it's an issue is when we have a power burp then it reset's to 102 which ends up being 106-7
  3. Ok spoke to Gecko.. They said live with the offset or replace the pack.. So I guess I'll live with it for now and if it goes south then I'll get the pack.. Thanks again for the help !!
  4. Thanks for the manual... Perhaps my spa is an older version.. Guess I should call Gecko.
  5. Sorry been busy lately.. I checked the temp is stable , with my offset. This was happening with the old sensor some time ago before it failed. Though it was less extreme., I did press and hold the light it said "Off". I hit the arrow and it's "On" .. Now concerned I have changed something that could cause problem, any insights as to what I changed ?
  6. Not sure how you set the cycle duration. Is there some special combination you enter on the controls to access hidden functions ? The filter is brand new. The sensor goes through the wall in the filter bay ( funny until this issue I never even noticed it) . There was no foam or anything covering the sensor housing before when things worked. As for the depth I didn't realize that was so critical. I just put it in the way it appeared ensuring the collar was spun enough to be snug an not allow water entry. As for the pump I wouldn't say it's nearby, but it is in the access area. We're having poor weather here so I'll have to open it up again once things clear. Thx again!!
  7. So the hot tub is once again hot ;-)... But it's too hot. I set it to 102 but it's 106... So I dropped it to 98 and it seemed to stabilize. Not sure if there is anything I can do at this point besides getting a new pack. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know. Again thanks for the help !!
  8. So sensor came & I installed it. Plugged all back in an later it appears the heating cycle is running. I'll verify things tomorrow, but hoping this is the end of this problem... Many thanks for all the words of wisdom !!
  9. Yes I ordered the temp sensor P/N Gecko gave me, should be here Friday... Crossing my fingers that wasn't a waste of $$.
  10. Reached out to Gecko and Balboa. The Gecko people didn't have any testing for me to do and decisively said it's the temp sensor or pack. The Balboa people didn't want to deal with me and referred me to a third party who's parts were much more expensive. I reached out to them anyway. Ordered the temp sensor and it should arrive Friday. Crossing fingers.. Will update once I get it.
  11. Checked these out.. So it's ok if I don't have all the features like ozone ? Also what do I do with the dial ? Does that just become none functional ?
  12. Yes it's 1 2 speed pump. Right now only wired for 120 and I have no intention of using it otherwise. Attached is the photo. There is a pump speed control ( lets you tweak the 2 speeds ) as well as the general controls. I think this is what you were requesting , if not let me know. And again I really appreciate you taking the time to advise !!
  13. OK 3 dots are back and pressure switch is still jumped. I've unplugged for the evening..
  14. I would appreciate whatever help you can lend. I'm fairly handy so I hope you can help me figure this out.. I was thinking a new pack would just save me the time in the long run.. I was just worried a new pack wouldn't be compatible with things like the controls for temp, pump etc.. The model listed is . A quick google got me some ideas but it's beyond my understanding if things will be 100% compatible. Model Number SC-CF-P121-NE-LS-H1.0-WK 10671-01D
  15. Ok I only saw 3 fuses.. I tested the big one removed the other 2 in place as they would be difficult to remove. All had continuity. Also checked continuity between P20 & P21 and it was connected which surprised me if they represented a relay with no power ( all of this done unplugged) . Plugged in , turned heat up , came back 15 min later. No 120 betweek P20 & P21 Also jumped the pressure switch ( I believe I replaced 2 years prior ) as depicted in picture. Plugged spa back in and waited 15 minutes. Nada.. FYI the 3 dots went away some time ago. Now it just doesn't cycle or heat.
  16. The filter is brand new , maybe 2 weeks old. I read up on taking that first step. Now there is no filter or heating cycle at all.. I am going to test the fuses once it stops raining here and try to verify the relay with a multi-meter. Wondering if I should just get a new control box. They aren't cheap and they don't make mine anymore so I'm concerned what implications that will have. Attached are the pictures.
  17. I have a solana tx that was having issues with the temperature being way above the setting, so we compensated by setting the temp lower. Kept us going through the winter so we could tackle the project in the spring. Now the heating cycle never turns on. Pump works fine when manually activated. Not sure how to troubleshoot this any ideas ?
  18. It was throwing 3 dots... Not at the moment. I will take some pictures tonight and post.

  20. Ok changed the water , replaced the filters . Same issue.. So we lowered the thermostat to 87 as a test.. Test the temp next day adn it dropped to 103. Lowered to 86 then went to 102 ( which is our ideal ) Remained that way for several days. So do you think that implies there is a sensor in need of replacement ? Motherboard ?
  21. I don't believe mine is programmable. Do I just time it ? Not sure how to kick it off manually.
