  1. Pipes with water in them should be below frost depth. Assuming they haven't had a freezing issue below plantings, concrete should have no adverse effect. You could always run a heat tape to use in extreme conditions, and circulating water is less likely to freeze.. Be sure they are well supported by gravel / soil before you pour. You may see heavier use on a slab than on lawn, that extra weight could crack poorly supported plastic. Bury away. Walt
  2. New install, 240V Nat gas, outdoor. Everything appears correct, but fails to ignite. I don't hear any igniter clicks, fan / exhaust or other sounds. Red LED in unit does not light up, both green and red lights on panel light when "POOL" button is pushed. Panel shows unit on, heater off when powered, then provides pool temp and set temp when POOL or SPA is pushed. I have switched gas valve to ON position. Would like to get it running for weekend, any thoughts on what to check? Thanks, Walt
