  1. We really love the formed fit and the cedar skirting on Arctic's... are there other brands that offer similar layouts and cedar exterior? Thanks, B
  2. From what I have read and told by dealer, the filtration system should be among the best, that being said, anyone with their filtration system have any info on it for me.
  3. Well we are getting pretty close to crunch time. Been going back and forth between a D1 Lotus Bay and a Jacuzzi 470 (Maybe a 365). There is a good margin difference in pricing but ... hmmm. Any thoughts or even better, any more I should consider before we make the big move? We are shopping in New England, Maine or N.H. to be more specific.
  4. Looksl like we have located a great Lotus Bay in Platinum color not too far from home at a great price (I think). I would like to see some photos of this model. I can get the standard photos from the site but looking for yours... please post. On a side note, how do you like yours..
  5. I just use the main receiver from the house and connected the exterior speakers to the additional ( output. When we go outside, switch it to the outside speakers...
  6. Ended up with Yamaha speakers connected to my house receiver above the spa in the Pergola with a Balboa Dolphin remote from Smart Home... All this for under 300$ and it sounds amazing... Glad I did it this way instead of built-in stereo in the tub as this way even with the cover on the tub I can get my tunes rocking in the backyard.
  7. I went through the same thing... well kind of... Had the Costco tub that had the built in Aeware stereo and since the return of the defective tub, we purchased a Pacific that didn't come with a Built-in stereo... So off to the local AV store. Purchase some BOSE 251 (499$) and hooked them up. Was severely dissapointed in the sound. Thought that it must be cause they were mounted outside. So thought I would pick up a pair of cheap speakers from Costco (Yamaha N570)... They blew the Bose speakers out of the water... So basically the Yamaha's for 139$ outperformed the Bose by a Huge Margin. So here's my setup: 1. Speakers: Yamaha NS-AW570 http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/product...mp;CTID=5003200 2. Receiver: RX-N600 http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/product...mp;CTID=5000300 3. Remote: Balboa Dolphin http://www.smarthome.com/59700.html The remote is waterproof and takes the RF signal from the remote and converts it to IR to control the music, inputs and even the TV.
  8. That was option number 3. Like the looks of it but no actual benefit as far as sun, snow or rain protection... well maybe a little sun protection. I am just wondering if I will actually want to use it in the rain... now I would but that is probably just cause it is new, that will probably die off in time...
  9. Debating right now on deck design around and to the hot tub. I am leaning towards enclosing it (Gazebo) style with roof and screens, the wife wants it left open.. What are your thoughts. Pros and Cons please!
  10. Just wondering how often you guys clean out your filters. Mine came with a spare set so it's really no big deal to let them soak overnight.
  11. As some of you may know... returned the Legend to Costco... after a crap load of problems and shitty construction. Got the pacific on the pad last night and wired it up (easy) and voila, did the startup diagnostic and I had not adjusted the wattage on the controller, once that was done... easy peasy I got the tub up and running... Comparasions so far. 1- Much more comfortable seating (Dry) 2- Water heated up in less then 1/3 the time (May just be a lemon Hydro I had???) 3- Access to the Spa pack and motors is incredibly easy 4- QUIET... don't know if it's the motors or the full foam insulation, but she sure is quiet... THanks for all the help fellas... and I am a converted, the Costco tub should stay on their floors.
  12. True in part... GE pumps though and not the other brand listed above. As for the best parts. Guess that all comes down to prefference. You cannot justify a good spa by brand name of components either as each brand has their Good stuff, then they also have their basic cheap stuff...
  13. I had looked into them as well but I am under the impression that the Pilates tubs and teh www.h20spas.ca is not the same. I think the Pilates is made by gulf Coast Spas which suck!
