I just wanted to say how much i enjoy soaking in my tub.I have apartments that overlook my backyard so its been a little uncomfortable wondering if someone is looking at me while i soak.I got the walls up on my gazebo kit and wow i was able to really relax and check out all the feaatures in my Altimar.I am so happy with my decision to buy the spa.Ive had a back issue for 10 yrs and a recent elbow arm fracture that hasnt healed yet(7months and counting)so its very soothing to say the least.thanks again i love this sight.

I did a search and could not find a link to the article. The FAQ link on rhtubs does not exists. Do you have a link to the article? After actually looking at the chemicals that the previous spa owner gave me i found them to be BaquaSpa.I went to the local Sundance store in rocklin and they tested my tap water and gave me a spa analysis which showed me exactly what to add.Simple.I was able to soak for the first time lastnight and it was great.

After a 2 month wait i finally broke down and had an elctrician run the wiring to my spa.It is heating up as i type this.I have an Altimar 04 and am so happy to have finally got it wired.Due to some injurys i was not able to do any of the work.I have to put the chemicals(bromine) in when i get home.Ive never done any of this so its all new to me but i will read the manual and put in what is required for the size of my tub.

The surface under the spa must be level before adding water. What do you have the spa sitting on now? What model spa do you have? Some can not be shimmed. It is not an easy task to shim a spa. If it is not even you can get stresses which will crack the shell. I have an alimar 04 and its on a slab that was not intended for a spa.I have about an inch difference from one end of the spa to the other.After talking to a local sundance dealer they said 1in is ok.They told me that before i checked it out.Im gomma fill it tomorrow and see what how it looks.

How do you level a hot tub?I know the obvious would be shims but are there plastic shims that the weather wont hurt?Im having an electrician come monday and i want water in the tub before he comes and want the spa level.Thanks for any help

The NEC requires #6 for 50A service (55A max for #6 I believe), so you should stick with #6. For conduit I'm not so sure, 1" screams in my head but 40% fill is what I'd check against. 1/2" I'd imagine is too small, 3/4" would be close but still might be small. Thanks for the reply.Ive been doing some research and 1"is a safe bet.I am going from my main panel up the wall to the attic and then out the wall to my sub panel.That will be the cleanest route.I will run #6 romex since it is in the attic.

I just recently bought an 04 Sundance Altamar.The spa came with a sub panel with a 50 amp breaker.The wiring is still connected to the spa.My question is since this is a 3 wire system.2bklack #6 wire and 1grenn#10wired should i run the same from my main panel to the 50 amp sub panel?Is 1/2 conduit enough big enough to fit the 3 wires?

Wet tested the polermo with my daughter after they tranfered water from one tub into the palermo.It wasnt very warm only about 90 deg. but that was fine for what i wanted to do.Man im so dissapointed in the Jets on the loungers.This model has a side by side one full lounger and the other right next to it a half lounger.The jets on those were almost piercing like and very uncomfortable but the lounger itself for me fit very well.Man decisions.They are going to try and put something different in the jets to soften them.Anybody else know what im talkin about on this model.There is no adjustment on these jets on the lounger either just air bubble adjustments.Bumbed out to say the least because i Love the layout.

Just got done wet testing a few tubs at the rocklin sundance.I have to say they have been great to me as far as NO PRESSURE.That has meant more to me than i can say.I have narrowed my search to the 06 PALERMO floor model.They are filling it up for me right now and i am going back with my daughter tonight to wet test it.We havent really discussed price but im guessing around 7k give or take 500.Is this a fair deal?I tell you what the way they have gone about doin business with me has been hassle free so far.Anyhow im gettin excited to purchase a spa and wanted to know if that was a fair price.Thanks

The certa is an option well it was but it is too small for me.The lounger is.That sounds like a great deal.What state are you in?Im in cali

Ive narrowed my search to these to brands.Im going to wet test today.I am being offered a CHELSEE out the door with no stereo for 6995.00 plus tax.I am also being offered a Tiger River BENGAL at 7000.00 out the door tax include,set up,delivery etc.GOOD DEALS?I personally like the fit for my body alot more on the Sundance models over Hot Springs.
