  1. Solana Tx - anyone have one ? How do you like it ? Positives and Negatives? Which is the really easy maintenance system ? Baquaspa versus Chlorine Thanks
  2. Is it expensive to have ozone installed? Is it worth with if I don’t have a circ pump? From what I have read: - If you are in a warm climate - without a circ pump - the ozanator would only come on when the heater is running - you really don't need a several hundred dollar(US) Ozanator. May need to use more waterline chemical.
  3. Can a dechlorinator be added to the water in the spa - if using a biguanide system like baquaspa ?
  4. I wonder what you should do - if you are using a biguanide system - and the city water has chlorine. What if the pre-filter on the hose that you use - - when you fill the spa - still allows excess chlorine into the spa ? I am aware of options like: - leave the cover off for a day - and let chlorine oxidize ( dissipate to gas ) - - - use 5 gal buckets to to off spa instead of hose with a dechlorinator in the bucket ( Ugh!! ) I would much rather fill it (solana tx - 160 gal. ) with a hose ! If using a baquaspa system - can a dechlorinator be added to the spa water directly - if you test it and find chlorine present ?? I know that chlorine and biguanide don't mix ! Thanks for any info - am just newbee - trying to learn more !
  5. Many Thanks - very helpful Info -from a "nice guy"!
  6. It seems like a higher voltage 220 v other brand or a 30 amp solana tx - is really only beneficial in a cold climate - where you use the spa for long periods. Am I right ?
  7. I am wondering what prices are running for the solana TX - with optional ozonator and optional 30 amp conversion sub-panel ? Is it available with optional ozonator ? Is ozonator worthwhile to have? Also is 30 Amp conversion worthwhile in houston TX area ?? If I don't like it too hot - and don't stay in for more than 15-20 minutes - would it just be better to get 15 amp 115 V standard hook-up ?? Cost difference ?? From what I've read - an ozonator is really important to have. Any thought on this ?? Many Thanks for any Info !!
  8. Am wondering - what is the price difference between the solana tx - with 115 V 15 Amp - and the conversion - the 115 V 30 Amp ? What is cost of 115 volt 30 amp sub- panel from Solana Dealer ? How much more do electricians charge to install the 30 amp sub-panel versus the standard 115 V 15 amp dedicated circuit?? Thanks
