Please help Doctor, spa here is my problem. I have a Gulf Coast spa 1 year old haven had a problem Till now. The heating element went south and they sent me a new one. Went through the steps to install it and the GFI keeps tripping. If I remove the two power cables the tub runs fine, checked the circuit board and I have 240Volts but If connected to the heating element the GFI trips. Do you think I got a bad new element or is my GFI cooked? Also how do you check to see is a Flo Thru element is good? Thank you Arthur

Dean I have a GCF and Im in jersey, what I did to lower my bill. I went to home depot and bought 3 bundles of plastic wraped insulation and put it on the floor of the tub under the piping then wraped the tub 3 times to block the wind from comming in.
