  1. Althought 5 ppm of chlorine is not an issue it may cause irritation to the skin and bother the eyes. Another effect high chlorine levels may have is on the bathing suit. It works as a catalyst and may cause your bathing suit to break down much faster than it would normall. It is recommended to to wait a few days to have the cholorine levels come down before using your pool. I recommened the 2-3ppm is a good level Best, Opool (http://opool.com)
  2. I also agree the use of the Waterline Control will help dramatically decrease the tan / brown goo that forms on your spa. If you get heavy usage of your spa you may want to change the water every so often making sure to wash the empty spa really well. Best, opool
  3. Hydrop Spa has a descent product from what I have read. I don't believe in bashing other companies whether it be Hydra Spa or another company. Especially since I'm a reseller for many companies I feel that each company has something unique to offer. Hydra Spa is trying to publicize their unique product as being the "luxury Spa". I don't know enought about Hydra Spa to talk about it but I think they made a mistake if they talked badly about other products. Best,
  4. It is recommended to replaster your pool in April or May so you give your pool and equipment enought time to adjust. When you get a pool newly replastered you want to make sure you let it run for a few months before winterizing. That gives all summer for your pool to become stable and more balanced.
