I am about to purchase my 1st spa. We have narrowed it down to the South Sea line made by Artesian. The question I have for you is they have an option for a full foamed insulation for 250.00.Otherwise it will be sprayed icynene on the shell and fittings with a foil lined insulation on the panels of the cabinet. We live in the Charlotte area of NC. The weather can get cold during the winter but not as bad as other areas of the country. But the summers can be hotter as well. So what are your opinions on this matter. The price is not important as much as the ease of servicing and saving the pumps and guts from over heating

Thanks. Thats what I thought. Going to visit some local dealers. Some brands that they carry: Sundance, Baja, and Artesian. Any thoughts on these ?

I am a newbie here to the forum and to the hot tub world. I am just starting out to purchase a new tub. I came across a company called Premium Leisure llc. After a little research there came up a few red flags. There seems to be a history with Hydra or Hydro Spas, Gulf Coast Pinnacle and Premium Leisure.Are these companies one and the same and just a name change to get out of warranty obligations ? Or is it a new company. Any thoughts on their products and service records would be appreciated.
