We installed a 100 % Salt water pool in Texas 1 and 1/2 years ago and about 6 months later, we began to see circular discoloring spots (sort of a gray color) popping up on the plaster below the water line. They grow in diameter and we now have about 1/2 a dozen or so. In addition, we are having a gray line form under the water line all around the pool. Gunite people say it's not their fault, plaster people say it's not their fault. I am assuming there is a chemical composition problem between the gunite and plaster, but I don't know enough about the reactive ingredients to figure this out. Finish is Wet Edge Blue Altima Pebble Plaster Steel / Gunite Also - I have been posting about this and people keep writing about Mottling - what is that? Please help, we want to love our pool and we need our warranty to kick in with one vendor or the other, but at this point, no one knows how to fix it.....
