  1. I've been reading through the Dimension One posts....this EXACT post has come up on several threads....VERY SAD that you would take the time to jump around to bad mouth a company but not take the extra 10 seconds to change what you write....IF THIS POST IS TRUE it sounds more like a dealer issue then a spa issue, contact Dimension One directly, they are fantastic, easy to work with and most of all they go ABOVE AND BEYOND what they have to...it would be easy for a company clear across the country (or world or whatever your location) to "shrug off responsibility" but I have never seen it from this company (and TRUST me after this long in the industry I could tell you some stories)!!!
  2. If your spa is only 2 years old making your own modifications can void your warranty. You may want to contact your local dealer for more information on this! If you are speaking of the glow bottle assy that is attached to the ballast then yes that is supposed to have a black top to it (search this part number 01781-17 to get an image to make sure we are speaking of the same thing). When you figure in what you are gaining by producing ozone the cost of the generating bulb is not as much as you think. The alternative to having ozone is keeping a constant level of sanitation in the water (like chlorine or bromine). You are replacing chemical costs (and time that could be spent enjoying the spa vs taking care of the spa) with the cost of the bulb. It is always a choice, not having the ozone would just mean keeping a close eye on your sanitizer and adding more chemicals to the water. Dimension One starts everyone off with the easiest chemical use possible, from there it is your choice to continue with vision and ozone! HAPPY HOT TUBBING!!!
