Well some is true. Rec did start in upper NY. Leisure bay and Rec Warehouses are owned by the same person. Rec was their retail side of the buisness. It seems that Leisure Bay has gone under and they are now contracting IPG or known as FreeStyle Spas in US to privatly label hot tubs for them. I do know there are two independant dealers for Rec.

I am a local sales rep that is in competition with Rec Warehouse...Leisure Bay spas. I know they were going thru financial troubles..arn't we all! I just want to inform my customers of whats happening. I do know that they are privatly labeling IPG spas with their logo on them for 2011. Did IPG buy them? Just dont want to give out bad info!!

Actually he is somewhat correct....you didnt buy a "leisure Bay" hot tub. You bought a hot tub they labeled as one...Check out IPGSpas.com. Its the exact spa from the real maker. I would be leary of your warranty. They have only carried that brand for about two months. I used to work for Rec. They are in some serious $$$ problems. The reason your warranty seems so long is because you are being charged after one year for a travel charge (aprox. $95) and they mark the parts up double so you cover the cost year two and after...
