  1. BETTER WARRENTY for starters. Ease of portability, I guess they assume people are going to pay for Conveniece and sad to say, they do. If you're looking for a 110v tub to just plug and play and not caryt around all over the dreammaker is cool. Alot of my customers who purchase SOFT TUBS will cart them to thier cottages in the summer and back home in the winter. Unless they have a 4 season cottage. One of my freinds bought a dreak maker, the nice thing about them is you don't have to replace the liner like you do in a soft tub. ($600CAD) The dreammaker if you scrathc it or crack it you can fix it with a torch! AHAHAHA No lie! Seen it done....YES!! It thins out the shell and you have to be carefull but its amazing!
  2. I'm a dealer for Softtub. PERSONALLY, I have used both and for what they are I like the DreamMAKER, Although Soft tubs are nice too.
  3. It does struggle is VERY COLD CLIMATE. I won't lie. Costco sells a Striped down version for about 2800 bucks. its a 220, the 4 seater. you will notice some heat decrease, even more so if you are runnign the jets with the air valve open.
  4. Excellent, I am a Dealer for Soft Tub. We have many happy customers with Soft Tubs. We have a steady stream of 7-10yr old Soft Tubs coming in for Re-lines and very little issues with them other wise! Congrats on your purchase.
  5. I might be BIASED but I love them. Sundance and Jacuzzi in my opinion make incredible hot tubs. I loved Sundance tubs before i became a dealer though.
  6. The 700 series is all new for 2007. The 800 series hasn't been revamped yet.
  7. The deepest seat in a cameo/optima is approx. 26" the others varie from 20" upto the deep 26" seat. I don't have a Cameo here to measure the lounger. Sorry.
  8. ELITE, COLEMAN, NAHANNI(home Depot)....any MAXX spa shares components. While the price is nice we have found that they DO use more hydro than say a SUNDANCE/JACUZZI/HOTSPRINGS and some of the other better made FULL FOAM tubs. We do FAR more service on our MAXX spas than we do SUNDANCE. Take it for what its worth, I also have some very satisfied Coleman customers......but They are what they are.....If NON full foam was the Ideal way to go don't you think they would have designed the cover the same way instead of using a full foam cover??
  9. Don't quote me on this but is Infinity Still MAXX SPAS?? I know YEARS ago my mom got an infinity and it was made by MAXX. It was a nice tub at the time, BUllet proof, never had an issue. Now I am a coleman dealer and the coleman tubs are NIGHTMARES!! I sell more Sundance than I do colemans.
  10. Excellent Choice! I was hoping thats the route you would go! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Can't go wrong either way! I'd buy the Sundance, but i'm biased. Honestly though, Wet test them both and decide from there as to which one better suits your needs! Both are EXCELLENT products which will provide you years of enjoyment!
  12. The Caymen Also has a Better Warrenty and Better Filtration. The Cayman is a Discontinued Model for 2007. Given the choice I would take a Caymen. The Waterfall in the Burlington isn't spectacular. And the extra 2 years of warrenty with the caymen is nice as well. Personally I find the jet placement in the Caymen nicer. More Jets isn't better! Jet placemnet if more important than number of jets.
  13. There was probably a reason the people were selling the USED Sundance Spa. D1 makes a beautiful swim spa.
  14. Service was a bit of a nightmare. My friend worked service and I was in sales. They make a VERY ATTRACTIVE tub. They go that much for sure. Arctic doesn't really have a LEG UP in these areas, Arctic spas have an incredible Story they tell. Actually all Hot Tub Stores have their Story they tell about why they are the best! ARCTIC is very convincing. They are my BIGGEST competition in my area. Wet test a bunch, and buy what you like. As long as you stick with a well known namebrand your ENERGY EFIFCIENCY is going to be very comparible. There's a seat for every a**, now you just have to find yours.
  15. I used to Sell Coast Spas. They make a very attractive looking tub. But if you have narrowed it down to those two companies in my opinion go with the Arctic. Just out of Curiousity though, did you check out Sundance, Jacuzzi or Hot Springs?
  16. Tell him to fill it! When we can keep one in stock we always have a Cameo or Optima with water. If we don't and someone wants to wet test it we fill it.
  17. Are you in Canada or the states? whats your location?
