eh, nothing worked. we're replacing the motor and pump......again.

hi jeremyh, we have the filtration set for 2 hours right now.....which is the least amount of time on this hot tub [it gives you 2, 4, 6, 8, and continuous]. we set to 2 because we thought that might be the problem. nope. i will have my maintenance team check the pump/motor sizing suggestion. thanks VERY much. fingers crossed!

Hi. I have a 10 year old Hot Tub....model probably doesn't matter cause it has a new motor and pump.....but it started out as a Dolphin. For the past year we've had this problem. We turn on the jets, everything is fine for 20 minutes, and then they go off. You CAN turn them back on, however they only stay on for 10 minutes and then they are off for at least 2 hours. At that point you can turn them back on again and the routine starts over. We have replaced the motor 2x. We have replaced the pump. Right now the pump is a Balboa VS Series [a couple months old] and the pump is an Emerson [also, quite new]. Photos here: We [me & my maintenance team] have tried: • venting the motor [there are no vents in this dolphin shell] • turning the filter cycle to 2 from all other options We think: • the voltage is correct? it has its own voltage world [photo in flickr set]...and it does not trip it. We know: • it USED to work however it's always been problematic. this is the 2nd new motor. the last one lasted 1 year because the guy who installed it installed it wrong. My new hot tub maintenance crew said there was a prong issue with circut board and ruined it. • we clean it constantly [great maintenance group that clean, test, dump-scrub] because it's at a vacation rental property • we do not abuse it My knowledge of hot tubs is incredibly limited. They are hot. They are tubs. That's about it. If there's anything else you need to help me out i'll send it. I have all the manuals, user guides, receipts, etc etc etc. Thank you so much for any help!!
