spa idiot

Good morning and Happy TGiving to the Spa Professors. Good News, Bad News. Spa is heating and bad news is it is stuck in the "ec" mode. Code guide in Balboa says this is good news as it is in the economy mode. OK, so how do I actually get the fans and blowers to work at peak performance and not in the pukey ec mode. It is like they are full of mollassses (Spelling from an desert rate, not an Mainer)? Punched a lot of buttons, got it to work great, then it would not heat. So, unplugged it, and it reset, now back to the ec mode, but at least it heated (Which it would not do after I oushed every button 10 times to get it to operate at full power). Is there a mentor out there with the 400 series Balboa controller who can help me through this? The Owners Manual is fool proof (it proves I am a fool). Thanks! RK

UH, I am a dog lover, but what good can come from your dog in the spa? If you can not take a 10 minute spa without man's best friend, there may be bigger issues at hand. Do you bathe with your dog? I assume he eats off your plate, and knows how to use a knife and fork, while sitting upright, otherwise, HE IS A DOG!

OK, so you can tell that fat white desk jockies should not try to fix a spa, but here goes. I am replacing the spa jets (see I can hang with the repair homies). What holds them in place in the tub? Most of mine turn and then fall out. I purchased new jets, but do not want to put them in until I understand what holds them in place, and how do I get them out without breaking them?
