Thanks, and apologies for the basic follow up questions - but what is an IMHO? Any advice on the most suitable set up for an outdoor pool then? We're wanting to get a salt water chlorinated pool, installing an automated testing system (chemigem) helps to keepo chemicals constant and hopefully at reduced levels. The sanitiser I'm not so sure about - mineral purifiers (such as Nature 2) allegedly kill the nasties as well - which I assume means even less chlorine is required. Am I right here?

Hi, I need some advice - we're trying to decide on the best combination of technologies/systems to try to reduce the overall level of chemicals used in our new pool. At thr moment we're thinking of going with a Cyclonne 75 pump, Hurlcon VX7T sanitiser and a Delta UV Ultraviolet Solutions filtration system/sanitiser (manufactured by Hydrawall). This will be coupled with a Chemigem automatic pH and CHlorine Controller. My question is are we going over the top? Is one of these systems unnecessary?

We're planning on buying a new pool and have heard about the Magnapool filtration system, which supposedly uses no chlorine, is better for your skin than harsh chemicals, etc. I'd be interested to hear about people's experiences with this or similar types of systems. Are the claims true or is it all marketing hype?
